eVTOLs at the Threshold: Turning Certification Progress into Scalable Operations

November 20, 2025: 12pm-12:30pm EST

eVTOLs at the Threshold: Turning Certification Progress into Scalable Operations
The next evolution in air mobility is closer than ever—but major hurdles remain.

The eVTOL industry is entering a defining phase as years of design, testing, and certification work converge toward operational reality. Join us as we examine the current state of advanced air mobility (AAM) and explore what it will take to transition eVTOLs from prototypes to scalable, real-world operations.

This webinar will unpack the challenges that matter most right now—aligning certification pathways across global regulators, integrating eVTOLs safely into complex airspace, building the infrastructure and vertiports to sustain operations, and earning the public trust essential for success. We’ll also explore how collaboration among OEMs, regulators, and infrastructure partners will shape the speed and scope of eVTOL commercialization worldwide.

Five Takeaways

1. The State of the eVTOL Industry
An honest look at where the global eVTOL market truly stands—from certification progress and operational readiness to which OEMs are leading the charge.

2. Certification and Regulation: The Path to Global Alignment
A deep dive into evolving FAA, EASA, CAAC, and GCAA frameworks—and what it will take to harmonize validation for global market entry.

3. Airspace Integration & Infrastructure Development
Understanding the operational realities of bringing eVTOLs into existing airspace systems, from traffic separation and routing to vertiport design and infrastructure buildout.

4. Operations, Public Acceptance & Scalability
How early operational models are likely to form, how public perception will evolve, and what’s needed to scale from pilot routes to urban networks.

5. Collaboration as the Catalyst
How coordination between OEMs, regulators, and infrastructure partners—such as through the FAA’s eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP)—will determine how quickly eVTOLs become part of everyday air travel.
